Students explore clean technology by building and testing circuits for electric cars, windmills, and solar devices while learning series and parallel circuits through hands-on activities, videos, and Kahoot.

Cleantech with Electrical Engineering

Environmental consciousness is at the forefront of every aspect of our lives. In this course, students will build a working understanding of electric cars, windmills, solar panel devices, and hydroelectric systems by using electrical circuits to explore the world of clean technology. They will dive into series and parallel circuits and learn how each configuration influences current flow, load distribution, and overall circuit behavior.

As they design, build, and test their own circuit models, students will work hands-on with essential electrical components, including resistors, switches, voltage sources, LEDs, jumper wires, and additional elements like conductors and insulators to understand how real electrical systems are engineered.

Students will also watch proprietary instructional videos, play Kahoot to reinforce key ideas, and participate in guided circuit-building sessions that bring every clean-tech concept to life. Through these activities, they will see not just what each component does but also understand it clearly.
