Speech and Debate (Spring)

For New & Continuing Students

The speech and debate class for elementary students is a wonderful opportunity to develop essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

In this class students will learn the art of persuasion through analyzing persuasive writing techniques, engaging in mini-debates and speaking presentations.

The class emphasizes research skills and effective communication techniques.

Learners will gain self-confidence and leadership skills while practicing their public speaking and debate / argumentation skills using real-world and current event topics in this class.

Continuing students will work on advanced research, critical thinking, and evaluation of sources. Through interactive sessions and personalized feedback, students will enhance their public speaking abilities and engage in constructive criticism. They will explore various forms of persuasive communication, gaining versatile skills applicable in any context.
