Chess is an art, a science, a way to communicate, and a fun game. The class will include individual and group instruction as well as supervised play among students. All ability levels are welcomed. All materials provided.
Scientific observations related to the functioning of machines. In addition to mechanical robotic parts, students will also be using distance sensors, along with Scratch programming to make their robot achieve multiple tasks.
The class emphasizes research skills and effective communication techniques. Learners will gain self-confidence and leadership skills while practicing their public speaking and debate / argumentation skills.
